Therapie en ontspanning met kamerplanten

A lot of people started collecting plants enthusiastically in the corona era. Fortunately, this hobby is not extinct, but thriving in abundance! Besides gaining a lot of plant knowledge with a large group of fun plant collectors and building a fun plant community, we also figured out how to unwind and de-stress nicely.

Houseplants good for health

The fact that houseplants provide relaxation and do a lot for good health has become clear recently. Many university studies have also shown that actively caring for plants improves the state of mind. Each new leaf brings joy and satisfaction for your good care towards your tropical plant.

Climbing plants grow with you

Meditation and being busy among the plants provides a therapeutic effect. You will see that you can go through life much more relaxed and that you get a better grip on emotions and your overall (mental) health takes a leap over time. So, figuratively speaking, climbing plants show how much you have already grown in taking care of plants and taking care of your body.

Psychology of houseplants

A number of studies have shown that plants can communicate with each other. They communicate via chemicals to each other when they are bothered by something, such as too wet soil, but also when they are happy and when you have taken good care of them.

For example, people who take good care of their Philodendron or Anthurium will find that they become better at communicating and recognizing details. Moreover, the feeling of being one with nature and being able to take care of it is, of course, unmatchable. This can give us such a euphoric feeling that we spontaneously forget that we are actually doing this as our job.
