In the wild, unfortunately, there are not that many Ceratocentron orchids left, partly due to habitat disappearance and climate change. The only species we know of in this genus is Ceratocentron fesselii. It is a small orchid that grows high in the Philippine mountains of the island of Luzon. The flowers of this orchid are bright orange in color. The species was discovered fairly recently due to scarcity: in 1989. Fortunately, there are many interested people who artificially propagate this species to preserve it.
