Lycaste

The Lycaste is a orchid genus which has about 40 species. Species of this genus are epiphytic or lithophytic. They occur particularly in Central and South America occur. Lycaste orchids can be large, fragrant flowers grow flowers that are often waxy in texture. The most common colors of flowers are white, pink, yellow and green. One of the most popular varieties are Lycaste skinneri, Lycaste consobrina and Lycaste lasioglossa.
