In Europe, Botanika is the plant event of Europe. Here the biggest names among growers come together to show their finest specimens. They most wanted and rare tropical plants of that year are announced here. Thus, new plants and orchids can be found every year. A real Valhalla for the hobbyist. So it is definitely a must for the avid collector to visit this event. And we will also be there this edition!
When does Botanika Hamm take place?

Where can I find Claessen Orchids and Plants at Botanika Hamm?
A map of the booths is always released on Botanika's facebook page, among others. On it, we and Popow will be featured. This is where we will be with our wonderful new curiosities.
What plant trends can we expect for Botanika 2024?
It is still early in the year, so many new species will be introduced. But trends we see coming back include stag horns as beautiful living paintings and ornaments for the room. But also the Philodendron billietiae will be seen more. In addition, we also expect the emergence of the Monstera deliciosa variegata aurea and the Monstera deliciosa variegata Mint (Full Mint).
Long leaves
Climbing plants with large, long leaves such as the Philodendron Spiritus Sancti will also remain popular for a while, but these are already no longer as unique to many people as they were.
Tropical bloomers
Orchids are also back with a vengeance. In particular, the Neofinetia, Cattleya, Phalaenopsis, Rhynchostylis, Sophronitis and the Paphiopedilum are in great demand again. The younger generation is also doing more and more with orchids. Very nice of course, because orchids are always a kind of surprise egg: with good care, the plant rewards you with beautiful flowers.
Can I reserve plants for collection at Botanika Hamm?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve plants at Botanika, because we are limited with the number of plants we can bring to the fair. Therefore, it's unfortunately not possible to reserve plants at the shop.

In addition, the unique pearls among our varieties are often sold right at the opening. So if you are a real fanatic, we recommend arriving early so that you still have all the choice.
We did not see Claessen Orchids and Plants at Botanika Houten, how is that possible?
For our small family business, the timing between the two events was too close together. As a result, we did not have an opportunity to go to Houten as well. Although Houten is gaining popularity, unfortunately it was not feasible for our small family business to go here as well. Perhaps we will be able to do so in the future.

We are located in Nederweert-Eind, near Weert, Eindhoven and Roermond in the Netherlands. This is also relatively easy to reach for people living in central or southern Netherlands, northern France, Belgium or western Germany.
