Zamioculcas

The Zamioculcas belongs to the plant family Araceae. It is a relatively easy houseplant, native to Africa. Nicknames of this plant include ZZ plant, Zanzibar gem, Zuzu plant, eternity plant, emerald palm and aroid palm. The leaves are glossy and usually they can adapt well to different places in the house. They are not too picky to survive. Moreover, they require little water. In 2014, a study was done with this plant on the air-purifying properties. It turns out that this plant is extremely good at this. In addition, it is also a very beautiful plant aesthetically, as there are both spotted and variegata varieties as well as varieties with a very dark, almost black leaves, such as the Zamioculcas Black Raven.
