Platycerium ridleyi dwarf

For fans of twisted leaves on distinct houseplants, the Platycerium ridleyi is often a fun variety. But we also managed to get our hands on a special variety: the ridleyi Dwarf. This version grows more compactly, but still has the similar characteristic growth of the ridleyi fern.

This plant is more suitable for someone who has had Platyceriums for a while and can give proper care to them. The ridleyi and all hybrids of it are in fact a bit more sensitive with the care get. It is therefore necessary to have some knowledge of these plants, because the ridleyi can react more violently to a change in climate or care. At night, for example, these plants may not cool down as much as other Stag Horns. They are a bit more stable and can also react more sensitively to minerals or if the water is not clean enough. So tap water is definitely not suitable, as it can change and contain too many harmful minerals and other substances.
