Anoectochilus

The Anoectochilus is also known as marbled jewel orchid or embroidery orchid. In fact, this orchid is especially sought after for the beautiful leaves it can get. Many of these orchids sparkle beautifully in the sun as if there were glitter in the leaves, and also stay compact.

The Anoectochilus is suitable as a houseplant with proper care, but does especially well in a terrarium. The plant likes slightly moist soil and clean water with few minerals.
